0 – ATPL (Frozen)

Preconditions

In order to take part in the pilot training at Goldwings Flight Academy the participant must have a medical certificate, which can be obtained at a recommended medical centre. There are three classes of medical certificates. Class I medical certificates are valid for a year before the holder turns 40 and half a year after he or she turns 40.
We recommend the Military Institute of Aviation Medicine (Wojskowy Instytut Medycyny Lotniczej): http://www.wiml.waw.pl/?q=pl/centrum-medycyny-lotniczej

Class I certificate (airplane airline pilot, commercial airplane pilot, helicopter airline pilot, commercial helicopter pilot):

  • initial medical examination  - 150 euro
  • recurrent medical examination – 80 euro

The medical examinations take place within a single day including the receipt of a certificate. Registration hours: 7.00-9.30. Detailed information is provided at +48 22 685 28 33 or + 48 22 685 28 55.

Goals

The 0-ATPL(A) training programme is the shortest and most effective way to obtain the airline transport pilot licence and land a job with an airline afterwards. We have been trusted by many customers. Goldwings Flight Academy is currently training several dozen student pilots in the 0-ATPL(A) programme. The training duration depends on the individual availability of the student pilot and his or her learning progress. However, it is possible to complete the whole training within a year, considering the student pilot does all necessary theoretical and practical courses during that time. The 0-ATPL(A) has been developed based on the European PART-FCL aviation regulations and many years of experience of our training staff. It is consulted with representatives of leading airlines on an ongoing basis.

Advantages

If you’re dreaming of working as an airline pilot, an important element of the training is to learn from staff who also fly planes for airlines. That’s why our biggest advantage is our staff who include active airline pilots. Our Head of Training is Arkadiusz Jesionek, who is a captain of Boeing 737 and Pilatus PC-12NG . Apart from that our additional asset is the training equipment such as the training platform for DA-42 + dedicated simulator, the only such one available in Poland.

Costs

The price is determined by the choice of plane and method of payment. You will find out everything from Head of Training Arkadiusz Jesionek, who will offer you the most optimum solution for you. The duration of the programme depends largely on the student pilot and his or her availability. Our experience shows that the 0-ATPL(A) programme may take from one to three years.

Details of the offer will be presented during your visit to Goldwings Flight Academy.
